Introduction
The Whitefeather Forest is a northern boreal landscape within the traditional territories of Pikangikum First Nation in Northwestern Ontario. Since time immemorial it has been cherished and cared for by our people. In return the land has provided for our people. The Whitefeather Forest Initiative provides us with the opportunity to create new livelihood opportunities for our young people while we continue in our role as keepers of the forest. |
